7 On the morning of the 5th, the Yunnan Provincial Higher People’s Court held a ceremony to appoint its second cohort of special supervisors. Thirty-eight individuals—members of the People’s Congress, members of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, representatives of various democratic parties, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, non-affiliated persons, and media reporters—were appointed as special supervisors to the Yunnan Provincial Higher People’s Court. Liu Changzhan, Chairman of Klin Light Industry, was among those appointed as a special supervisor for the court’s second term, with a tenure of five years.

The system of specially appointed supervisors is a concrete measure adopted by the people’s courts to thoroughly implement Xi Jinping’s thought on the rule of law and to uphold whole-process people’s democracy in the administration of justice. It is of great significance for achieving the goal of ensuring that the people feel fairness and justice in every judicial case.

“The rule of law is the best business environment.” Governing enterprises in accordance with the law provides crucial organizational and institutional safeguards for private enterprises to make decisions, manage their operations, and protect their legitimate rights and interests in compliance with the law. It is an inevitable path for corporate survival and development and an objective requirement of the market economy.

Kelin Light Industry will continue to take Xi Jinping’s Thought on the Rule of Law as its guiding principle, further elevate the quality of its corporate legal work, and consistently strengthen the rule-of-law awareness of all employees. It will promote law-based governance, development, and strengthening of the enterprise, thereby contributing to new advances in the work of the people’s courts, safeguarding judicial fairness, and advancing social equity and justice.
