Sincere cooperation, building the future together! The collaborative project between Klin Light Industry and Fupeng Asia has officially launched.

7 On the 11th of the month, the 2023 Kunming Zheng He Cultural Tourism Festival kicked off, and the “Meeting in Jinning, Co‑Creating the Future” investment promotion conference was successfully held. The Fupeng Kelin Environmental Protection Project, a collaboration between Kelin Light Industry and Fupeng Asia, was officially launched. Liu Changzhan, Chairman of Kelin Light Industry, was invited to attend and deliver a speech.

Chairman Liu stated that, taking this “Meeting in Jinning—Co‑Creating the Future” investment promotion conference as an opportunity, Keling Light Industry and the U.S.-based Fupeng Company will invest in and establish a manufacturing facility in Jinning District, officially launching a full‑chain project for new renewable plant‑fiber materials. The project uses waste flower stalks, bagasse, and other residues as raw materials; through the company’s independently developed biofermentation technology, high‑quality fibers are extracted from these wastes. These premium fibers are then processed into pulp and, using Fupeng Group’s proprietary techniques, transformed into eco‑friendly packaging products that can be widely applied across industries such as food, daily necessities, and consumer electronics. This packaging material boasts advantages including being non‑polluting, free of chemical additives, biodegradable, versatile in applications, and relatively cost‑effective, giving it strong market competitiveness. Building on this initiative, the project will further introduce microbial fermentation technologies to convert recycled packaging materials into organic fertilizers, ensuring a closed‑loop system that truly brings resources from the fields back to the fields.

The signing and implementation of this project will not only boost the region’s green economic development and help forge a new pattern of opening-up that strengthens central Yunnan, integrates China’s domestic economy, connects neighboring areas, and aligns with international standards, but will also enable Yunnan to contribute to the nation’s efforts to achieve carbon peak and carbon neutrality, promote the sustainable development of the Chinese nation, and build a community with a shared future for mankind—thereby delivering both economic benefits and environmental advantages.

Looking ahead, the company will deepen its cooperation and exchanges with Fupeng Asia, adopting a holistic perspective and a long-term vision. By fully leveraging the respective strengths of both parties in talent, research, and other areas, it will seize new opportunities in the green industry and drive Yunnan’s high-quality, low-carbon development.
