7 On the 22nd of the month, the inaugural Yunnan Merchants Conference, hosted by the Provincial Political Consultative Conference and co-organized by its General Office and the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, was held in Kunming. More than 200 Yunnan-based business leaders from home and abroad gathered in the “City of Spring” to share their deep ties to their hometowns and jointly chart a bright future for Yunnan. Liu Changzhan, Chairman of Klin Light Industry, was invited to attend the conference.

Wang Ning, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress, attended the conference and delivered a speech, extending a warm welcome to all distinguished guests and offering his best wishes to Yunnan entrepreneurs around the world.
