In recent years, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce has vigorously promoted The “Ten Thousand Enterprises Revitalize Ten Thousand Villages” initiative mobilizes more private enterprises to engage in the main battlefield of rural revitalization, shifting from “assistance” to “prosperity”—transforming aid‑driven “blood transfusions” into self‑sustaining “hematopoiesis.” By fully leveraging the catalytic role of private enterprises in rural development, this effort positions businesses as a key engine for energizing rural revitalization. During this year’s Two Sessions, General Secretary Xi Jinping highly commended the initiative, hailing it as a “remarkable feat,” and emphasized that “when ten thousand enterprises help ten thousand villages and revitalize ten thousand villages, moving from poverty alleviation to revitalization, and advancing urban–rural integration and industry–agriculture integration, the potential of private enterprises in this regard is immense.”

At Dongchuan District Senior High School and Dongchuan District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, they reviewed the progress of digitalization on campus and learned about the hospital’s efforts to become a demonstration county for TCM. At the Dongchuan District Grain Reserve Depot, they examined the development of the 20 MW distributed photovoltaic project undertaken by Yunnan Xinhua Hydropower Co., Ltd. In the Bigu Industrial Park, they gained an overview of the district’s and the park’s history, as well as their future planning and development. Finally, they visited Kunming Zhongzhou Sponge Building Materials Co., Ltd. to assess the company’s production and operations.

On the afternoon of July 26, following the conclusion of the field visit, the research team held a symposium with relevant leaders from Dongchuan District.
