On May 20, the Yunnan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and Yunnan University held a signing ceremony in Kunming to jointly establish the “Dian Business School.” Kang Jin, member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Liao Lianzhong, Vice President of Yunnan University, signed the Cooperation Agreement on the Joint Establishment of the Dian Business School on behalf of their respective institutions. Liu Changzhan, Vice Chairman of the Yunnan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and Chairman of Kunming Kelin Light Industry, was invited to attend the signing ceremony.
The establishment of the Dian Business School aims to thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech during his inspection tour of Yunnan, closely aligning with the goals and requirements of “achieving a leap forward,” “defining three strategic positions,” and “pioneering a new phase of high-quality development in Yunnan.” With a focus on four core missions—talent cultivation, advisory services, industry–university–research collaboration, and the inheritance and innovation of Dian business culture—the school will coordinate with relevant government departments, strive to nurture more outstanding private entrepreneurs, and contribute to local economic and social development.
Looking ahead, Keling Light Industry will uphold the Yunnan merchants’ spirit of openness—“connecting the world”—continuously driving industrial upgrading through both adherence to core principles and innovative breakthroughs. By tackling technological challenges, it will carry forward the pioneering ethos of its predecessors in serving the nation through industry, fostering the integration of traditional manufacturing with digital technologies. At the same time, seizing the opportunities presented by the RCEP, the company will transform Yunnan’s unique local resource advantages into competitive product strengths, thereby contributing to the province’s high-quality economic development.
