On January 11, the Fourth Session of the 14th Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference in Kunming was solemnly opened at the Kunming Convention Center. Liu Changzhan, Chairman of Keling Light Industry, attended the session, joining representatives from various sectors to deliberate and offer policy recommendations aimed at advancing high-quality development in Kunming. 
At the meeting, the outstanding achievements Kunming City attained in its economic and social development in 2024 were summarized, with particular emphasis on the new breakthroughs made in building the “Six Spring Cities,” advancing ecological civilization, and improving people’s livelihoods.
During the conference, Liu Changzhan, Chairman of Keling Light Industry, actively engaged in discussions and creatively proposed the establishment of the Kunming Electromechanical Industry Alliance. He expressed hope that by consolidating industry resources, fostering collaborative innovation, and optimizing the industrial chain’s spatial layout, the overall competitiveness and sustainable development capacity of Kunming’s electromechanical sector could be further enhanced, thereby injecting new momentum into the city’s high-quality development. 
Kelin Light Industry will take the spirit of this conference as its guiding principle, align closely with Kunming’s key development priorities, and vigorously advance green manufacturing and technological innovation, optimize industrial planning, and enhance its core competitiveness. It will actively participate in initiatives to improve people’s livelihoods and implement the rural revitalization strategy, thereby supporting urban–rural integration and sustainable development. Furthermore, it will strengthen industrial cooperation with countries in South Asia and Southeast Asia, opening up new avenues in international markets. In doing so, it will inject strong momentum into Kunming’s high-quality development and make an even greater contribution to forging a new chapter in Kunming’s practice of Chinese‑style modernization.
