On June 12, Zeng Guangbin, Vice Chairman of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference in Laibin, Guangxi, led a delegation of 12 members, including municipal CPPCC members, to visit Kelin Light Industry. They engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges with Kelin Light Industry on comprehensively implementing the new development philosophy and advancing the sugar industry toward high-end, intelligent, and green development.

They were accompanied by Liu Changzhan, Chairman of Kelin Light Industry, and by Vice General Managers Song Mingxin, Liu Wenrui, and Zhang Anzuo, as well as by Zhang Zhongjing, Deputy Manager of Nanning Kelin, and by Li Dehai, Director of the Technical Center, who joined them for the tour and subsequent symposium.
At the meeting, Chairman Liu Changzhan provided a detailed overview to the leaders of the company’s recent advances in technological innovation and their practical applications. Vice Chairman Zeng Guangbin commended Keling Light Industry for its achievements in steadfastly pursuing independent R&D and innovation, as well as in driving its own digital transformation and upgrading. He noted that these efforts fully embody the principles of the new development philosophy and offer valuable lessons for the domestic sugar industry’s transition toward high-end, intelligent, and green practices. The accomplishments Keling Light Industry has attained in sugar‑industry equipment and technology are a source of pride for all of us in the sugar sector—and for the Chinese people as a whole.
Vice Chairman He Lichuan fully commended Keling Light Industry for starting from the ground up, working steadily and methodically, and steadily strengthening and expanding its business. He also expressed the hope that the company will set an example in digital transformation and continue to achieve new breakthroughs in developing new‑type productive forces.
Chairman Liu Changzhan stated that, going forward, the company will continue to align with the domestic sugar industry’s goals of achieving high‑quality development through “maximizing resource utilization,” “reducing costs and boosting efficiency,” and “green, low‑carbon practices.” To this end, the company will further extend its industrial chain, promote the comprehensive utilization of sugar‑production by‑products, and advance research and development on technologies for the high‑value utilization of bagasse and sugarcane leaves, as well as the resource‑based, harmless treatment of filter mud. These efforts will help drive the domestic sugar industry toward high‑end, intelligent, and green transformation, while fostering the extension of the industry value chain.
