On August 22, Luo Laijun, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, led a research team to Kelin Light Industry to conduct a special survey on the implementation of market access policies in the private sector and on private enterprises’ participation in rural revitalization efforts. Pan Hongwei, Deputy Director of the United Front Work Department of the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Executive Vice Chairman, accompanied the delegation. The purpose of this visit was to gain an in-depth understanding of the tangible results, challenges, and development recommendations faced by private enterprises in advancing high-quality growth and participating in the “Ten Thousand Enterprises Revitalize Ten Thousand Villages” initiative, thereby further boosting the vitality of private-sector development and supporting the thorough implementation of the rural revitalization strategy.

The research team first conducted an on-site inspection at the Fumin production base, followed by a symposium at the headquarters of Kelin Light Industry. During the meeting, Chairman Liu Changzhan provided a comprehensive report on the company’s achievements in industrial transformation and upgrading, technological innovation, and its contributions to local economic and social development. He also highlighted the company’s efforts in recent years to fulfill its social responsibilities and actively engage in rural revitalization. Since the launch of the “Ten Thousand Enterprises Revitalize Ten Thousand Villages” initiative, Kelin Light Industry, in collaboration with the Yunnan–Inner Mongolia Chamber of Commerce, has implemented several support projects in Dongchuan District, including the “Red Army Crossing Kelin Music Plaza Project” and the “Kelin One‑Orange Bookstore.”

As of the end of December 2024, the “Hongjun Du Kelin Music Square” has welcomed a total of 3,325 visitors, helping to boost the annual visitor count at the nearby Hongjun Du Memorial Hall to over 10,000 and directly enhancing the appeal and influence of red tourism. Serving as both a cultural venue and a space for public leisure, the square has hosted more than 20 events—including Party history study sessions and cultural performances—since its opening, becoming a new hub for villagers’ spiritual and cultural life, a prominent symbol of local Party building, and a fresh platform for external outreach.

“Kelin Yicheng Bookstore” focuses on the integration of cultural empowerment and digital technology, creating a comprehensive agri‑culture‑tourism platform that combines reading and learning, intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, and e‑commerce training. It expands sales channels for specialty agricultural products such as “Hongtu Orange,” effectively enhancing brand value and farmers’ incomes, thereby achieving dual improvements in social and economic benefits.

In addition, Keling Light Industry provided equipment‑financing support to Menglian Changyu Sugar Industry Co., Ltd. for its capacity‑upgrade and modernization project, helping to enhance the competitiveness of the sugar industry in border regions and contributing positively to border stability, ethnic unity, and balanced regional development.

The research team of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce fully commended Keling Light Industry for the significant achievements it has made in supporting rural revitalization and promoting balanced regional development. Vice Chairman Luo Laijun emphasized that private enterprises are a vital force driving economic and social progress, with considerable potential—particularly in improving market access, invigorating business entities, and advancing common prosperity. He encouraged the company to continue leveraging its organizational strengths to mobilize more enterprises to participate in rural development through industrial assistance, charitable donations, talent training, and other initiatives, thereby exploring new models of rural revitalization that are both replicable and scalable.

He expressed the hope that the broad ranks of private enterprises will continue to take root in Yunnan, deepen their engagement at the grassroots level, achieve their own growth while serving local development, and ensure that the “Ten Thousand Enterprises Revitalize Ten Thousand Villages” initiative delivers tangible results and establishes a distinctive brand.
