The launch ceremony for the Menglian Changyu Sugar Industry High-Quality Development Project, supported by the Yunnan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and Kelin Light Industry, was successfully held.

On July 21, the Yunnan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce’s 2025 Joint Meeting on Designated Assistance to Menglian County by Provincial-Level Units, together with the launch ceremony for the Kelin Light Industry–supported high-quality development project of Menglian Changyu Sugar Industry, was solemnly held at Kelin Light Industry’s Fumin Production Base. Attending the event were Gao Feng, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce; Pan Hongwei, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce; and Mou Hongcao, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce. Secretary Pan Hongwei personally attended the launch ceremony and officially announced the commencement of the project.

As a vice-chair unit of the Yunnan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, Kelin Light Industry has enthusiastically responded to the “Ten Thousand Enterprises Revitalize Ten Thousand Villages” initiative and proactively fulfilled its social responsibilities. Chairman Liu Changzhan stated that this project not only demonstrates the company’s commitment to supporting rural revitalization but also represents a pragmatic step to leverage technology in boosting the development of specialty industries in border regions. Kelin Light Industry will fully capitalize on its technological strengths in the machinery manufacturing sector to help Changyu Sugar Industry enhance quality and efficiency, thereby contributing to local economic growth and increased employment and incomes for farmers.

The launch of this project has not only injected new momentum into Changyu Sugar Industry’s high‑quality development but has also provided a valuable model for private enterprises across the province to engage in rural revitalization. Moving forward, Keling Light Industry will continue to serve as a leading example, working in concert with all stakeholders to make an even greater contribution to Yunnan’s rural revitalization and its pursuit of high‑quality development.
