Kelin Light Industry Adds Another Chapter to Its “Ten Thousand Enterprises Revitalize Ten Thousand Villages” Initiative — Kelin Yicheng Bookstore Commences Construction Successfully

On June 13, the “Kelin–Yicheng Bookhouse” project, jointly initiated by Kunming Kelin Light Industry Machinery Co., Ltd. and the Yunnan Inner Mongolia Chamber of Commerce, officially broke ground in Xindianfang Village, Tuobuka Town, Dongchuan District, Kunming. Under the overall coordination and guidance of the Yunnan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, and with the care and support of the Dongchuan District Party Committee and the District Federation of Industry and Commerce, the project has progressed smoothly. Kelin Light Industry has donated RMB 800,000 for its construction, aiming to create a modern public space that integrates reading and learning, cultural activities, and knowledge exchange for local villagers.

The groundbreaking ceremony was chaired by Sun Yan, Vice Chair of the Dongchuan District CPPCC and Chairman of the District Federation of Industry and Commerce. Mou Hongcao, Vice Chair of the Yunnan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, delivered an important address; Wang Yaya, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Dongchuan District Committee and Head of the United Front Work Department, gave a welcoming speech; and Liu Changzhan, Vice Chair of the Yunnan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce and Chairman of Kunming Kelin Light Industry, provided an overview of the Kelin Yicheng Book Garden project. Among the guests in attendance were Zhao Wencheng, Chairman of the Guangcai Foundation of the Yunnan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce; Huang Yongxian, Mayor of Tuobuka Town; Hao Linjie, Supervisor of the Yunnan Inner Mongolia Chamber of Commerce; representatives from Kunming Kelin Light Industry Machinery Co., Ltd.; representatives of the Yunnan Inner Mongolia Chamber of Commerce; and representatives of the project’s construction contractor. In the presence of all attendees, Mou Hongcao, Vice Chair of the Yunnan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, officially declared the commencement of the “Kelin Yicheng Book Garden” project, marking the entry of this public‑benefit initiative into its substantive construction phase.

Since the launch of the “Ten Thousand Enterprises Revitalize Ten Thousand Villages” initiative, the Yunnan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce has effectively facilitated the precise alignment of corporate resources with rural needs through platform building, service optimization, and innovative models. Under the guidance of the provincial federation and with the support of the Dongchuan District Party Committee, the District Federation of Industry and Commerce, and other departments at all levels, Kelin Light Industry has actively responded to the national call to advance rural revitalization. Following in-depth preliminary research into the cultural service needs of Xindianfang Village, the company has moved forward with the implementation of the “Kelin One‑Orange Bookstore” project. Upon completion, the project will help address the local shortage of cultural facilities, offering villagers a range of services—including reading and learning, cultural exchange, and educational training—and is expected to be finished and put into operation within the year.

The establishment of the “Kelin Yicheng Bookstore” marks another significant initiative by Kelin Light Industry in the field of rural revitalization. Kelin Light Industry will continue to prioritize the development needs of rural areas, fulfill its social responsibilities through concrete actions, and contribute to the flourishing of rural culture and the cultivation of local talent, thereby injecting sustained momentum into the rural revitalization effort.
