From January 17 to 20, the Third Session of the 13th Yunnan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference was solemnly held at the Yunnan Haigeng Convention Center in Kunming. Liu Changzhan, a member of the provincial CPPCC and Chairman of Kelin Light Industry, attended the session, joined representatives from all sectors in deliberating and discussing matters of public concern, and contributed his wisdom and efforts to the high-quality economic and social development of Yunnan Province.
After carefully listening to and reading the Government Work Report, Chairman Liu Changzhan was deeply moved by its focus on the difficulties confronting the development of private enterprises. He noted that the report meticulously highlights the challenges faced by private firms in their growth trajectory and puts forward practical, actionable policy measures to support the private sector. As a local private entrepreneur from Yunnan, Chairman Liu Changzhan keenly appreciates the substantial and effective efforts undertaken over the past year by the Provincial Political Consultative Conference and its Standing Committee in implementing business‑friendly policies, addressing concrete issues for private enterprises, and helping them achieve steady progress amid a complex market environment.
Chairman Liu Changzhan highly commended the provincial CPPCC for its consultative and deliberative activities centered on “helping enterprises alleviate difficulties.” He noted that by organizing high‑quality policy recommendations and ensuring effective implementation of relevant measures, the CPPCC has fostered a favorable environment for the development of private enterprises. Initiatives such as the “Thousand Hong Kong Entrepreneurs Visit Yunnan” investment promotion campaign have provided crucial opportunities for Yunnan’s private firms to expand their markets and attract external investment, underscoring the CPPCC’s pivotal role in advancing economic growth. Moreover, through training programs on policy interpretation, refined research methodologies, and enhanced analytical capabilities, the CPPCC has enabled its members to more precisely align their work with key priorities. By improving consultation mechanisms and establishing robust platforms for dialogue, the CPPCC has cultivated a democratic and harmonious atmosphere conducive to constructive deliberation. “These comprehensive measures have not only elevated the overall performance of the CPPCC but have also empowered each member to shine on the CPPCC stage, contributing even greater strength to Yunnan’s pursuit of high‑quality development.”
Looking ahead, Keling Light Industry will take the spirit of this conference as its guiding principle, align closely with Yunnan Province’s key development priorities, deepen technological innovation, and drive industrial optimization and upgrading, thereby advancing green manufacturing and sustainable development. At the same time, it will actively integrate into the rural revitalization strategy, supporting integrated urban–rural development; further engage in international cooperation, expand into the South Asian and Southeast Asian markets, and contribute to Yunnan’s efforts to build itself into a regional hub serving South Asia and Southeast Asia. In doing so, it will inject new momentum into Yunnan’s comprehensive economic and social progress and make an even greater contribution to the Yunnan‑specific path toward Chinese modernization.
