Since joining the company in June 2004, Comrade Zhou Zhaoxin has demonstrated a dedicated and conscientious work ethic, quietly contributing for twenty years and becoming an accomplished operator and a key production pillar at the Metalworking Branch. On July 1, 2024, at the general staff meeting marking the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the 55th anniversary of the establishment of Keling Light Industry, and the fourth session of the fourth term of the Trade Union, Comrade Zhou Zhaoxin was honored as Keling Light Industry’s Model Worker for 2023.

At work, Comrade Zhou Zhaoxin is primarily responsible for operating the gantry milling machine, machining critical components such as the outer profiles of comb plates and bottom combs, the square heads of press roller shafts, and keyways on various shaft-type parts. The quality of these components directly determines the performance of the entire sugar‑making equipment. Faced with these complex and vital tasks, Comrade Zhou Zhaoxin consistently rises to the challenge, puts himself in the customer’s shoes, closely monitors production progress, and completes all assignments on time, to specification, and in the required quantities. In January 2020, he was awarded the company’s “2019 Keling Star” title.

During periods of heavy production demand, Comrade Zhou Zhaoxin often operated two machines single-handedly, working until 10 p.m. every day for several months in a row. In 2023, his overtime totaled 1,218 hours, yet he never once complained, consistently delivering high‑efficiency, high‑quality work with a parts‑processing pass rate exceeding 99%. His diligent dedication and commitment to excellence fully embody his selfless spirit of service.
Lead by example, foster team cohesion.
As the team leader of the large‑milling group, Comrade Zhou Zhaoxin leads by example. Not only does he perform his duties with diligence and dedication at his post, but he also unites and guides his team members in carrying out all aspects of work, including part machining, product quality control, equipment maintenance, and safe, civilized production. In 2023, the team he leads was recognized as first or second place in the sub‑factory for safe, civilized production on five occasions, achieved a product pass rate exceeding 99%, and maintained a 100% safety record. This exemplary leadership, which sets a positive example through personal conduct and inspires the team, has established an outstanding model for the entire group.
