The company has successfully passed the recertification audit of its quality management system.

　　From December 18 to 20, 2018, an expert team comprising Qiao Liang, Deputy Director of the Beijing Zhongda Huayuan Certification Center; Auditor Xie Xiaoying; and Trainee Auditor Qiu Zhenhao conducted a recertification audit of our company’s quality management system in accordance with GB/T 19001-2016/ISO 9001:2015.

　　At the inaugural meeting, Deputy Director Qiao Liang, on behalf of the Beijing Zhongda Huayuan Certification Center, conferred upon our company the honorary title of “High-Quality Certified Enterprise” and presided over the plaque‑presentation ceremony.

　　It is worth noting that the certification center dispatched a highly qualified expert team for this assessment. The audit team leader was Comrade Xie Xiaoying, who brings many years of certification experience, while Deputy Director Qiao Liang, renowned for his exceptional professional expertise, personally served as an auditor. This audit was a value‑adding recertification review; over the course of two and a half days, the expert panel completed the recertification assessments of the company’s 14 departments. During the audit process and at the closing meeting, the team also provided incisive explanations of several newly added standard clauses, delivering a clear and insightful on‑site training session for all participants.

　　While commending the company’s successful transformation and strong business performance, the audit team also highlighted certain realities—namely, that, amid rapid growth, the mindset and competencies of some managerial personnel have not kept pace with evolving needs—and offered numerous candid and constructive recommendations for the company’s operational management and quality management system.

　　During this audit, the expert panel identified two nonconformities, both classified as minor. The company’s quality management system certification has once again been maintained. (Provided by the Quality Department)

The company’s Youth League Committee organized a visit to the Yunnan Provincial Museum for young employees.

　　The Kelin people have been nurtured by Yunnan’s mountains and rivers and sustained by its history. Here, they work and live, drawing strength from this land; every mountain, every stream, every blade of grass and tree silently sustains those who call it home. We must come to know the mountains and waters that have raised us and seek out the history that has shaped who we are.

　　On the winter solstice, December 22, 2018, the company’s Youth League Committee organized a visit to the Yunnan Provincial Museum for the company’s young employees.

　　The Yunnan Provincial Museum was founded in 1951. It serves as a hub for the province’s history, culture, and art. Its new building on Guangfu Road opened to the public in 2015. The main structure is laid out in a square‑shaped plan, echoing the traditional “Yi Ke Yin” residential architecture of Yunnan. Its exterior is finished in a reddish‑copper hue, symbolizing Yunnan’s reputation as the “Kingdom of Nonferrous Metals.” A series of narrow, elongated slits that run through multiple floors evoke the image of the Stone Forest, capturing its weathered forms and radiating an unspoiled natural charm.

　　Upon arriving at the museum, the company’s young employees listened attentively to the guided tour and proceeded with an orderly visit. In the Natural History section, we gained insights into Yunnan’s basic topography, geological structure, mineral resources, major flora and fauna, and climatic conditions. In the Ancient Era exhibit, we viewed a variety of fossilized remains of ancient organisms and early humans, as well as primitive stone tools that symbolize the origins of human civilization. The Bronze Age gallery showcased the evolution of civilization from stone tools to bronze, featuring exquisitely preserved bronze vessels that have endured for millennia, alongside a magnificent reconstructed model of a palace from the ancient Dian Kingdom. As time flowed on, we witnessed the splendid Buddhist culture of Nanzhao in Dali, the “Lotus‑Fragrance Buddha Land,” and learned about the twelve generations of the Mu clan who safeguarded Yunnan. Moving into the modern era, we encountered a history of resistance and progress—marked by the National Protection Movement, the May Fourth Movement, and the Chinese Expeditionary Force’s campaign in Burma—while precious artifacts and photographs transported us back to those not-so-distant, momentous years, ultimately leading us to the grand epic of the new age.

　　A visit to the Yunnan Provincial Museum gave those of us, caught up in the daily grind and immersed in the mundane routines of life—cooking, shopping, and the simple joys of tea and vinegar—a rare moment to pause, reflect, and truly appreciate the mountains and rivers of Yunnan that have long seemed to slip unnoticed by our gaze, as well as the rich tapestry of its history. Great love is silent; great music is barely heard. It is precisely what we tend to overlook in the rhythm of everyday life that often proves most precious—those enduring bonds that nurture us, sustain us, and carry us forward as we forge our own values and shape our times, resting upon the shoulders of the towering figures who came before us.

　　As a member of Keling Light Industry, working and living in Yunnan, it is only fitting that we come to know this land and honor its history. On this red‑soil homeland, let us continue to write the chapters of the new era through dedicated work and harmonious living—paying tribute to our heritage and giving back to the mountains and rivers that have nurtured us.
