The company convened the third session of the third Workers’ Congress.

　　(This newspaper reports) On April 28, 2019, the third session of the company’s Third Workers’ Congress was held in the auditorium on the sixth floor of the Fumin Comprehensive Building, with 56 worker representatives and 48 non-voting attendees in attendance.

　　The conference heard and approved the administrative work report titled “Braving Wind and Rain on the Path of Endeavor, Forging Ahead with Steadfast Progress,” delivered by Comrade Liu Changzhan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of the company; the trade union work report titled “Uniting as One, Working Diligently, and Striving for the Enterprise’s Steady Development,” presented by Comrade Yang Guowu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Trade Union; and the report on the review of trade union funds for 2018, delivered by Comrade Duan Ying, Director of the Trade Union Financial Audit Committee, on behalf of the Third-term Financial Audit Committee.

　　During the proposal‑reporting session, Chairman Liu addressed, one by one, the issues raised by each delegation—covering all aspects of production and daily life—and set forth specific requirements for the implementation of these proposals.

　　The meeting concluded that 2019 is a pivotal year for the company’s leap‑forward development, as we will face a complex market environment and grueling production and operational challenges. It was emphasized that all employees must clearly understand the current situation, substantially enhance their ability to navigate a challenging landscape, optimize the product mix, and improve product quality, thereby working diligently to fully achieve the annual objectives across all areas of operation.

　　In 2019, the enterprise will closely rely on its broad workforce, fully mobilize employees’ enthusiasm and creativity, and vigorously advance team‑level development and rationalization‑proposal initiatives, cultivating a cohort of outstanding teams and exemplary team leaders to identify and nurture more talent for the company’s continued growth.

The company once again earned a prestigious honor by participating in the Fumin Welding Skills Competition.

　　(This newspaper reports) On April 19, 2019, the “Seventy-Two Trades in Intensive Training, Thirty-Sixty Professions Produce Champions” event—along with the third electric‑welding skills competition—was solemnly held at Kunming Junma Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. The event was hosted by the Fumin County Federation of Trade Unions and organized by the Fumin County Industrial Park Trade Union Federation. Guided by the principles of openness, fairness, and impartiality, it aimed to cultivate a workforce that is learning‑oriented, knowledge‑driven, skilled, and innovative, with training, competitions, and technological innovation as its core activities. Eighty welders from various enterprises took part in the contest; our company sent Wang Bin, Xu Hongbo, Pu Xiaobing, Zhou Chaolu, Pu Zhixiong, Xie Zhicheng, Cui Hongwei, Liao Ruyi, and Li Shilin, all from the Riveting and Welding Branch Factory. After a day of intense competition, Pu Zhixiong and Liao Ruyi jointly claimed first place, Xie Zhicheng secured second place, Zhou Chaolu and Pu Xiaobing earned third place, while Wang Bin and Cui Hongwei were awarded excellence prizes. The Communist Youth League’s Red Journey—Zunyi Trip

　　To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League of China and to uphold the spirit of “remembering history, honoring our martyrs, cherishing peace, and forging a brighter future,” the company’s Youth League Committee organized a group of 15 members—including members of the Youth League Committee, secretaries of Youth League branches, and branch committee members—to embark on a “Red Journey” in Zunyi, Guizhou. Over the course of two brief days, they visited the site of the Zunyi Conference, the former headquarters of the Red Army’s General Political Department, the former site of the Chinese Soviet Bank, Deng Xiaoping’s former residence, and the Red Army Martyrs’ Cemetery.

　　As we stepped into the former site of the Zunyi Conference, filled with boundless reverence for the revolutionary pioneers, we could not help but feel a profound sense of solemnity. Gazing at the precious photographs and meticulously compiled documents, our thoughts, guided by the guide’s narration, were carried back to those tumultuous years of war.

　　In January 1935, in this very ordinary conference room, the historically significant Enlarged Meeting of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee was held—later known as the Zunyi Conference. Convened during the Long March, at a time when the Red Army had suffered defeat in its fifth counter‑encirclement campaign and sustained heavy losses in the early stages of the march, the conference marked a pivotal moment in the history of the Communist Party of China. It brought an end to Wang Ming’s “left” adventurist line within the Party leadership, established a new central leadership with Mao Zedong at its core, and, at a critical juncture of life and death, saved the Party, the Red Army, and the Chinese revolution. By preserving the Red Army under extremely perilous conditions, the conference enabled it to complete the Long March victoriously and usher in a new chapter in the struggle against Japanese aggression.

　　Walking from the site of the Zunyi Conference, through the exhibition hall, the former headquarters of the Red Army’s General Political Department, and the former site of the Chinese Soviet Bank, we came to appreciate the journey by which the great leader Mao Zedong rose to prominence here, gaining a deeper understanding of the truth that “history chose Mao Zedong.” What inspires even greater admiration is the Red Army’s extraordinary wisdom and masterful military strategy under Mao Zedong’s leadership.

　　The scenes of the Red Army braving the perilous Wujiang River and crossing the Chishui River four times seem vividly before our eyes: the cannon fire at Lou Shan Pass, the surging waves beneath the Chishui, and the arduous marches of the Red soldiers through snow-capped mountains and vast grasslands. All of this moves us deeply, ignites our passion, and stirs our fervor. We profoundly appreciate the hardships of China’s revolutionary struggle, the hard-won nature of the Chinese revolutionary regime, the immense challenges of the Long March, and, above all, the glory and greatness of the Communist Party of China.

　　The Great Long March gave birth to the Great Long March Spirit, which stands as the highest embodiment of the Chinese nation’s indomitable and self‑reliant spirit. It is a powerful spiritual force that ensures the triumph of our revolutionary and developmental endeavors, and it constitutes the most precious spiritual treasure of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese people.

　　Although the trip lasted only two short days, we returned with much to take away. We will integrate the spirit of the Long March into our daily work, continuously carry it forward, and contribute to the country’s strength, social harmony, and the enterprise’s development.
