Kelin Light Industry Participates in the China Sugar Industry Expo

　　The 2019 China Sugar Industry Expo and World Sugar Industry Symposium was grandly held from May 24 to 26 at the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center. The event was co-hosted by the China Sugar Association and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Sugar Industry Development Office, with Guangxi International Exposition Group Co., Ltd. serving as the organizer.

　　The theme of this year’s expo is “Accelerating the Transformation and Upgrading of the Sugar Industry, Sharing Opportunities for Innovative Cooperation,” emphasizing “internationalization, diversification, and industrialization.” With equal emphasis on exhibitions and high‑level conferences, the event aims to establish a platform for collaboration and exchange, boost trade in sugar products, and facilitate the industry’s transformation and upgrading.

　　This expo covers an exhibition area of 30,000 square meters and is open to the public free of charge. More than 800 companies are participating, showcasing over 100 product categories. The main exhibition zones include sugar industry development and cooperation, refined sugar, a wide range of sugar‑related products, intelligent machinery and technologies, and supporting services for the sugar sector. Building on the first China Sugar Industry Expo held in November 2017, this edition has expanded its offerings to include food and beverages, sugar‑containing pharmaceuticals, alcoholic drinks, starch‑based sweeteners, smart equipment, big data and artificial intelligence, biomass power‑generation equipment and technologies, as well as everyday consumer goods—comprehensive sugar‑related products. In addition, a dedicated section on sugar culture and science education has been established to promote the positive image of China’s sugar industry.

　　Kunming Kailin Light Industry Machinery Co., Ltd., a well-known and leading brand in the sugar‑machinery industry, participated in this Sugar Industry Expo, with its exhibition booth located in the Intelligent Machinery and Technology Zone on the second floor of Area D at the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center.

　　During the exhibition, the company not only showcased its complete range of sugar‑processing equipment but also provided effective solutions and valuable recommendations to address customers’ concerns about sugar‑factory project management. The Keling booth attracted considerable attention from both domestic and international clients—new and longstanding alike. In particular, the heavy‑duty shredders, forced‑circulation batch crystallizers, continuous crystallizers, leaching units, sugarcane self‑unloading systems, and sugarcane desanding systems on display were among the event’s standout highlights. A steady stream of visitors came to inquire, turning the exhibit area into a distinctive and eye‑catching feature.

　　Through this exhibition, Keling Light Industry not only strengthened its existing partnerships but also identified a large pool of potential customers. While reaching preliminary agreements or formal contracts with numerous clients, the company also engaged in constructive exchanges with industry peers, jointly explored pathways for the future development of the sugar industry, gained insights into the latest market trends, broadened its international outlook, and effectively promoted its brand—laying a solid foundation for expanding into both domestic and international markets going forward.

　　As spring draws to a close and summer begins, the landscape is awash with lush greenery, and amid the vibrant flourishing of all things, we celebrate the May Fourth Youth Day.

　　The May Fourth Movement, which broke out in Beijing on May 4, 1919, was a patriotic movement led primarily by young students and joined by broad sections of the public, including merchants and industrialists—members of the lower and middle classes. It took various forms, such as demonstrations, petitions, strikes, and violent confrontations with the government. It marked the Chinese people’s resolute opposition to imperialism and feudalism and heralded the beginning of China’s New Democratic Revolution.

　　To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the May Fourth Patriotic Movement, promote the spirit of patriotism, and enrich the cultural and recreational lives of young employees, the company’s Youth League Committee organized a theater‑going event for young staff at the Kunming Theater on the afternoon of May 24.

　　The play being performed is titled “Cellmates,” a humorous series created by Mahua FunAge in 2015. During those brief two hours, the audience was treated to lightheartedness, joy, and nonstop laughter, all while marveling at the show’s wildly imaginative twists. The actors’ meticulous performances, witty and hilarious dialogue, and boundless creativity consistently had everyone in stitches, filling the theater with an infectious atmosphere of sheer delight and adding a touch of cheer to every young, passionate soul after a long day at work. Yet amid the mirth and merriment, one line stood out most vividly: “What I hate most is people who give up before they’ve even failed.” Life may throw us some absurd, miserable setbacks, but we must still take action—never let our own cowardice defeat us.

　　To live and to act is to never give up! Vitality pours forth through the passage of time; passion surges in the heat of our blood; the years fly by in all their beauty; and youth boldly shines with self‑confidence. This is not only a true reflection of the young people of the May Fourth Movement, but also the aspiration of today’s youth. The youthful years are a time when life truly blossoms; as young people of our era, even if you face countless disappointments and find that nothing goes your way, you may have every reason to feel troubled or to complain—but you must never have any excuse to abandon your pursuits, for youth is so beautiful, and it belongs to you.
