2019 Corporate Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health and Safety Management System The external audit has been successfully completed.

　　(This newspaper reports) From January 4 to 8, 2020, a team of experts from the Beijing Zhongda Huayuan Certification Center—comprising Mao Zongli, Zhu Xiyuan, and Ma Yan—visited the company to conduct a four-day, two-phase audit: a surveillance audit of the enterprise’s quality management system, followed by a certification audit of its environmental, occupational health, and safety management systems.

　　On January 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., the audit team convened its inaugural meeting, which was attended by Chairman Liu, senior management, department heads, and relevant personnel. Mao Zongli, head of the expert panel, on behalf of the audit team, outlined the objectives, scope, methodology, and key tasks of this audit, presented the audit schedule and group assignments, and solemnly pledged to uphold confidentiality obligations.

　　At the meeting, Chairman Liu reiterated the importance of external audits and underscored how the effective implementation of the management system enhances corporate governance and delivers tangible benefits. He instructed all departments and relevant personnel to approach the audit process with diligence, extend full cooperation to the auditing experts, humbly seek their guidance, and maintain meticulous records, with a view to implementing corrective actions, refining processes, and achieving continuous improvement upon completion of the audit.

　　Following the inaugural meeting, the audit team conducted a thorough and in-depth assessment of the company’s leadership, three production plants, three centers, and eight departments through on-site inspections, interviews, random sampling, data collection, document review, and discussions with employee representatives. The team gathered evidence demonstrating compliance with the organization’s quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems, and carried out a comprehensive and meticulous evaluation of the suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness of the system documentation. Throughout the audit, the experts promptly clarified the specific findings and addressed related issues, while also offering numerous constructive and practical recommendations for improvement.

　　On the afternoon of January 8, following internal deliberations, the audit team convened a final meeting at 4:30 p.m. The meeting was chaired by Mao Zongli, head of the audit team, who presented the following summary of the external audit: No critical nonconformities were identified during this audit; two minor nonconformities were noted. The company’s quality management system was found to remain effective, and certification registration for its environmental and occupational health and safety management systems is recommended. Following the briefing, Chairman Liu delivered a concluding address on behalf of the company. He began by expressing his sincere gratitude to the three auditors for their diligent efforts, noting that they demonstrated an exceptionally high level of professional expertise. Their questions were incisive and addressed key areas, highlighting weaknesses in the company’s management system operations, while also offering numerous valuable insights and recommendations without reservation.

　　Chairman Liu has instructed the Quality Department to circulate, by January 10, the corrective measures and improvement recommendations put forward by the experts to all departments, and to develop a timeline for implementing these changes while ensuring their timely completion. In addition, Vice Presidents Song Mingxin, Guo Kai, and Dai Yuelin— who participated in the audit—have been assigned to use the “Kelin Forum” to communicate and disseminate, to all departmental managers and relevant personnel, the issues identified during this audit as well as the experts’ suggestions and recommendations.
