To reduce the occurrence of sudden environmental incidents and to ensure rapid, effective response and emergency rescue operations following such incidents—thereby minimizing personnel injuries and mitigating environmental damage risks—this Emergency Response Plan for Sudden Environmental Incidents has been specially prepared.

To implement the principle of prioritizing environmental safety and prevention, this plan is formulated in advance to address potential sudden environmental incidents that may occur during the company’s production processes. It establishes a practical and effective emergency response mechanism for such incidents, with the aim of preventing their occurrence. Should an incident nevertheless arise, the emergency response plan will be activated to ensure a swift and coordinated response, enabling organized, well‑planned, and step‑by‑step handling of the situation, along with the timely implementation of effective measures for rescue and mitigation, thereby minimizing the environmental impact. At the same time, this plan seeks to strengthen the enterprise’s capacity to prevent and respond to sudden environmental accidents, safeguarding the personal safety and health of employees and local residents, and protecting the interests of the state, the collective, and individuals from loss or harm. In accordance with relevant national laws and regulations on environmental protection and workplace safety, as well as pertinent local government directives, and taking into account the specific characteristics of Kunming Kelin Light Industry Machinery Co., Ltd.’s production and operational processes, together with the actual conditions regarding environmental hazards and the potential for sudden environmental incidents, this emergency response plan has been developed.
