The company held a commemorative awards ceremony to mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

    At 3:00 p.m. on July 1, 2021, Keling Light Industry solemnly held a commemorative and awards ceremony marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China in the lecture hall on the sixth floor of the Fumin Comprehensive Building. The event was attended by more than 140 participants, including all members of the company’s active Party branches, selected members of the retired cadres’ branch, members of the standing committees of Retired Branches One and Two, newly admitted probationary Party members, members of the company’s Youth League Committee, representatives who won awards in the “My Growth Alongside the Enterprise” speech contest, and mid-level and senior managers who are not Party members.

Amid the solemn strains of the National Anthem of the People’s Republic of China, the commemorative conference was held with great solemnity. All attendees first viewed a slideshow titled “The Glorious History of the Party’s Centenary and the Development of Party Building at Kelin Light Industry.” Subsequently, under the leadership of Comrade Liu Changzhan, Secretary of the Company’s Party Committee, new party members took their oath of admission, while veteran party members reaffirmed their vows. Comrade Yang Guowu, Deputy Secretary of the Company’s Party Committee, read out the Party Committee’s decision on commendations, awarding the Foundry Branch Party Committee the honorary title of “Advanced Party Branch” for the 2020–2021 period; conferring the honor of “Outstanding Communist Party Member” on nineteen comrades—Dai Yuelin, He Jian, Lin Xiaogang, Zhong Jianwei, Yang Ningfu, Xu Mengqing, Cheng Huiping, Zhang Yunyan, Song Zehong, Wang Jun, Liu Dejin, Zhao Zhenwen, Zhao Xuedong, Zhang Xiaojun, Zhong Jianxin, Wang Yongming, Shi Qingsheng, Li Jinggang, and He Guangqing; and bestowing the title of “Outstanding Party Affairs Worker” on seven comrades—Liu Weixin, Lu Junqiang, Yang Xingmin, Yang Guowu, Hu Yaozu, Tan Yulin, and Pan Ziqiang. Former company leaders and Chairman Liu personally presented certificates of merit and honorary awards to representatives of the advanced party branches, outstanding communist party members, and distinguished party affairs workers.

Following the award ceremony, Comrade Song Zehong, an outstanding Party member of the Fumin Comprehensive Party Branch, delivered a speech on behalf of the honored advanced collectives and individuals. Meanwhile, Wei Chengjin, a young worker from the Casting Sub‑Factory, gave a compelling report‑style address to the assembly as the representative of the winners of the “My Growth Alongside the Enterprise” themed speech contest.
Subsequently, Comrade Liu Changzhan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman, and General Manager, delivered an important address on behalf of the company’s Party Committee. His speech focused on three key themes: remembering history and staying true to our original aspirations; strengthening our foundations and setting an exemplary standard; and forging ahead with determination to lead the way. He stated that the Communist Party of China’s 100-year history is a saga of arduous struggle, brilliant achievements, and remarkable victories—a testament to the Party’s pioneering spirit and unyielding resolve. Over the past century, our Party has grown from small beginnings to great strength, leading the people of all ethnic groups across the country through times of war and peace, from the New Democratic Revolution to the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. It has endured severe tests and secured one great victory after another. In particular, since the 19th National Congress of the CPC, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has, from the vantage point of both history and the present, and with a global perspective, taken a holistic view of the overall situation, put forward a series of new concepts, ideas, and strategies, and continuously opened up new prospects in comprehensively strengthening Party self‑discipline. As a result, China’s economy and society have flourished, its international standing has reached unprecedented heights, and we now stand closer than ever before in history to realizing the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation. Both history and reality fully demonstrate that the Communist Party of China is indeed a great, glorious, and correct Marxist party.

Speaking about the Party’s work within the enterprise, he noted that since 1969, the company has traversed a 52-year journey of development. Likewise, this developmental trajectory demonstrates that upholding the leadership of the Party and strengthening grassroots Party organizations constitute the firmest foundation for the enterprise’s growth and expansion, and serve as the fundamental guarantee enabling the company to advance along the right path and achieve sustained success. At our enterprise, a distinctive Party‑building approach—anchored in upholding Party leadership, reinforcing grassroots Party organizations, leveraging Party building to drive trade union and Youth League development, and using trade union and Youth League initiatives to further strengthen Party building—has taken shape, bearing the clear hallmarks of “Kelin Light Industry.”
When discussing the company’s current challenges and its future development strategy, he stated that from 2020 to 2021, we successfully mitigated the adverse impacts of the COVID‑19 pandemic on our production and operations, achieving notable progress in technological innovation and market expansion. Projects such as sugar‑machinery support systems and spare parts, casting production, and bio‑treatment equipment have all yielded significant interim results. However, while acknowledging these achievements, we must also recognize that numerous areas still present issues that cannot be overlooked. This year, the company’s top priority is to ensure the effective implementation and solid execution of the aforementioned three projects. Whether we can attain the desired outcomes will serve as a critical test of our management capabilities, as well as an assessment of the Party organization’s role as a strong fighting fortress and of the exemplary leadership demonstrated by Party members. He urged all Party members and cadres to embrace the principle of “taking the lead at the forefront and setting an example through concrete action.” For the projects the company has identified, they must dare to assume responsibility, take ownership, tackle tough challenges head‑on, and willingly accept risks—working with a sense of urgency that brooks no delay, a keen awareness of the need to act without hesitation, and a commitment to strive for excellence—thereby setting a positive example and establishing clear benchmarks for all employees.
Finally, Chairman Liu emphasized that as we enter the 14th Five-Year Plan period, we are confronted with an increasingly complex economic environment and fiercer industry competition. In particular, this year, the profound impact of the COVID‑19 pandemic on our production and operations has yet to fully subside. Nevertheless, no challenge can deter Keling Light Industry’s resolve to achieve steady, sustainable growth. We must make the fight for the company’s survival a conscious guiding principle in carrying out all our tasks, uphold the “Keling Spirit” of hard work, putting the bigger picture first, striving for self-improvement, and daring to innovate, strengthen our core capabilities, build our brand, press forward with determination, and continue writing new chapters of success—delivering concrete results that will earn us a perfect score from every Keling employee and from society at large!
