Safeguarding Life, “Rescuing” at Your Side — Keling Light Industry Conducts Medical First-Aid Training

To promote public awareness of first-aid and emergency‑rescue medicine and to enhance employees’ abilities in self‑rescue as well as mutual assistance, the company hosted a medical first‑aid training session in the headquarters auditorium on the afternoon of August 4. The event featured presentations by Director Yang Ningfu and Dr. Xu Mengqing from Tongxin Road Community Hospital, with participation from relevant staff members across all departments.

At the session, the instructor underscored the importance of mastering cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Drawing on the practical realities of employees’ work and daily lives, the instructor provided targeted instruction on essential first‑aid skills, including CPR, artificial ventilation, and the proper use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). The presentation also highlighted key considerations during rescue, common mistakes to avoid, and the criteria for determining the effectiveness of cardiac resuscitation. To help participants fully grasp the critical techniques and correct procedures, the instructor conducted live demonstrations using mannequins, offering hands‑on guidance and constructive feedback throughout the practical exercises, ensuring that all trainees confidently master both CPR and AED operation.

This training session, lasting two and a half hours, combined concise yet comprehensive classroom instruction with professional, engaging simulation exercises. As a result, participating employees not only acquired fundamental medical knowledge but also gained hands-on experience in first aid, equipping them with the skills to provide self‑rescue and mutual assistance. This capability enables them to ensure their own safety during emergency situations while maximizing their ability to help others. Moreover, it provides robust safety assurance, supporting the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance workplace safety, strengthen accountability, fortify preventive measures, and promote high‑quality, stable development.

A delegation led by the Vice President of Thailand’s KSL Group paid a visit to Keling Light Industry for an inspection and exchange.
