On December 20, under the warm sunshine and amid the sound of celebratory firecrackers, the “Kelin Music Plaza Project for the Red Army Crossing at Shujue Village, Tuobuka Town,” part of Kelin Light Industry’s efforts to support rural revitalization in Dongchuan District, officially broke ground beside the Shujue Red Army Crossing Memorial Hall along the Jinsha River.
On that day, Pan Hongwei, Deputy Director of the United Front Work Department of the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce; Long Gang, Secretary of the Dongchuan District Party Committee; Li Fugui, Deputy Director of the United Front Work Department of the Kunming Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, and Executive Vice Chairman; Lei Jin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Dongchuan District Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Commission of the District; Sun Yan, Vice Chairwoman of the Dongchuan District CPPCC and Chairwoman of the District Federation of Industry and Commerce; Li Hua, Secretary of the Tuobuka Town Party Committee; Liu Changzhan, Chairman of Kelin Light Industry and President of the Yunnan Inner Mongolia Chamber of Commerce; Xing Liyuan, Chairman of Yunnan Zhongzhou Sponge City Building Materials Co., Ltd. and President of the Yunnan Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce; as well as relevant leaders from the provincial, municipal, and district federations of industry and commerce, laid the foundation stone for the Music Plaza, accompanied by a delegation from the Kelin Light Industry Party Committee. Eight people, including six members of the Party branch of the Yunnan–Inner Mongolia Chamber of Commerce, attended the groundbreaking ceremony and, accompanied by leaders, visited the Shuji Red Army Crossing Memorial Hall.

Since 2023, the enterprise, in collaboration with the Yunnan–Inner Mongolia Chamber of Commerce, has conducted multiple fact-finding missions to Dongchuan District. Working closely with the Dongchuan District Federation of Industry and Commerce, local government authorities at all levels, and relevant farming households, the team has aligned its efforts with the district’s specific conditions and the government’s policy directives. Leveraging the enterprise’s internal and external market strengths, as well as the platform resources of the Yunnan–Inner Mongolia Chamber of Commerce and the Yunnan–Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce, the initiative has been meticulously planned and organized. Guided by three core objectives—“carrying forward the great cause,” “building industrial chains,” and “promoting employment”—the project has ultimately identified and launched four support initiatives: the “Hongjundu Kelin Music Plaza Construction Project in Shuju Village, Tuobuka Town”; the “Brand‑Quality Enhancement Project for Hongjun Sugar in Shuju Village, Tuobuka Town”; the “Sweet Sorghum Pilot Planting Project”; and the “Order‑Based Training Program at the Dongchuan District Vocational and Adult Education Training Center.”
On June 30, 2016, the Shuji Red Army Crossing Memorial Hall, faithfully reconstructed to replicate the original site of the Red Army’s Yangtze River crossing command post, was completed and opened to the public. It has since been designated as a patriotic education base in Yunnan Province. Following the completion of the Kelin Music Plaza at the Red Army Crossing site, the development of red tourism in Dongchuan will be significantly enhanced, and efforts to build a skilled workforce for red tourism will be further advanced.

Secretary Lei Jin stated that the completion of this project will enhance the educational reception capacity of the Dongchuan District’s red‑education base and also demonstrates the active participation of private enterprises. This is a key manifestation of the “Ten Thousand Enterprises Revitalize Ten Thousand Villages” initiative. We hope that entrepreneurs will continue to lend their support and assistance to Dongchuan, taking this initiative as an opportunity to channel more of their superior resources, flagship projects, and thriving industries into the region, thereby helping Dongchuan overcome developmental challenges and driving high-quality economic and social progress.

Commencement of construction is merely the starting point; going forward, Kelin Light Industry and the Yunnan–Inner Mongolia Chamber of Commerce will adhere to… In line with the “Carrying Forward the Great Cause” assistance goal, we will devote ourselves wholeheartedly to safe construction and ensure timely completion, transforming Shuju Village’s Red Army Crossing into a new hallmark of local Party building, a powerful tool for mass work, and a shining calling card for external publicity. Through concrete actions, we will repay the support and care of leaders at all levels and contribute to Dongchuan’s high-quality economic and social development and the comprehensive advancement of rural revitalization!
